FAQ MAKA Dogs

  • How long will it take to process my order?
In the case of the Hexaline tape, we start the order realisation immediately after the payment for the order is received. We make and ship them on the same or next business day. Individual orders or Hexa webbing braces may take a little longer. When it comes to Biothane, if we have the ordered tape and its quantity in stock, we also fulfill the order on the spot. Information about the colors available in stock can be found on the individual product page. If we have to order a tape for you, the implementation takes up to 14 working days. We accept orders for Paracord braided products rather sporadically, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the offer of already made products. Any delays beyond our control are communicated individually by e-mail to each client.
  • I have not received an order confirmation. What now?
Order confirmation is sent automatically by our system. If you have not received it, and the email you provided for communication is 100% correct, it means that most likely the order did not go through. In this case, make sure that no funds have been taken from your account and order again. We will of course cancel any duplicate orders and refund overpayments.
  • I want to return the purchased lanyard - how can I do it?
As a consumer, you have 14 days to return the product for any reason. The returned product must be unused and returned in the condition in which you received it. On our homepage you will find the "Returns" section where you can download the return form and return the product to: st. Krośnieńska 19a, 38-420 Korczyna or to Parcel Locker: KOC01M (ul. Gen. Szeptyckiego, 38-420 Korczyna) When creating a label, use the data: info@makadogs.com, phone: 501367960 The cost of the return shipment is borne by the customer.
  • My leash has been chewed through or damaged. To throw away?
No! Let us know and we'll try to fix it for you. Send us a lanyard and we will repair it and send it to you at our expense. If we can't help her, we'll help you say goodbye to her.
  • Hexa and Biothane - what's the difference?
Hundred point question. Hexa is a lifestyle material, everyday, soft and pleasant to use, with a charming, raised hexagonal honeycomb pattern on the surface. It looks a bit like rubber or silicone, but it's neither - it's vinyl chloride, a plastic that doesn't stretch, doesn't get wet, doesn't mold, and is very easy to wash. The price is very competitive compared to Biothane, but depending on the intensity of use, it can be used for a shorter period of time. Biothane is a patented material, produced only in the United States, very technical and durable. It has a smooth surface, and the tape at the beginning seems slippery and hard, but over time it kneads well and becomes rubbery. It is a material that is able to withstand a lot, light bites, tugging is a trifle for it. The resistance of the material makes the thin tapes cope with even larger breeds.
  • I have a large dog - do I need the widest tape possible?
Maybe yes, but probably not! The weight and size of the dog do not have to go hand in hand with a wide belt. It all depends on how the dog behaves on the leash - whether he is used to it, whether he pulls or bites. If the dog pulls hard and bites the leash, the wider Biothane (13mm, 16mm) will certainly be a better choice, except for training, of course;). If the dog is calm and the leash is really just an addition, then even Hexa with a width of 10mm will be ok.
  • Will my dog chew through this leash?
We don't have a crystal ball, so we can't predict if this will happen. If the dog likes to chew on the leash and we let him (consciously or unintentionally) chew on it, he will most likely bite. Remember that dog's teeth probably won't just chew through the chain, most other things are a breeze. Remember that the leash biting problem is not a leash problem, but that the dog gets frustrated wearing it for some reason, so it's worth addressing the problem at the source.
  • Help - what hardware to choose?
In our offer you will find metal (classic and trigger) and aluminum (alpine) carabiners. To make your choice easier, we have created a small cheat sheet on the fittings at the link below: https://www.makadogs.com/fittings Metal carabiners are available in several colors: black, silver, rosegold, rainbow, gold. Black fittings are the cheapest and the most standard, but they also lose their color the fastest, they can wear off because they are painted. Rosgold fittings are second in terms of color durability. Our and our clients' experience shows that silver, gold and rainbow fittings stick best! Alpine carabiners come in only one size, but they offer a load capacity of up to 400kg, so they are recommended for the largest and strongest dogs. 3 colors to choose from: black, gray and blue.
