The Salva collar is made of the original Biothane tape with a width of 20mm or 25mm and is equipped with a special secured metal buckle coated with silicone for a more interesting finish. The adjustment range is from approx. 30 to approx. 50 cm.

We tested silicone fittings on our four-legged friends in the Australian Kelpie breed, who checked the fittings while grazing and swimming. You can expect a slight abrasion (especially inside the half-rings, which the carabiners rub against), but apart from small abrasions, the buckles do not lose their coating.
SALVA collar
The advantage of the BioThane tape is that it is absolutely waterproof and easy to clean.
It is a product made of polyester covered with a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer) coating, the features of which are:
